Lake Forbes Enjoy the a range of outdoor experience on Lake Forbes

Lake Forbes is a body of water that branches of the Lachlan River and meanders through Forbes. The Lake is a valued asset to the community with a 10km of walking and bike lanes. At one end there of the Lake you are able to enjoy water sports with motorised boats.  Canoes and dragon boats are a popular way to enjoy the bird life, and you can greet the locals while walking or bike riding around the Lake.

Access to the Lake is available from various points around the Lake, head out Bedgerabong Road for motorised water sports, or head to the south part of the Lake for via Camp Street for playgrounds and free BBQ parks.
