Goobang National Park Goobang National Park

One of the state’s newest national parks is located 30kms North-East of Parkes. It is approximately 42,600 hectares in size, 55kms ling and ranges from a width of 200m to 20kms. Goobang National Park can be accessed via a number of different roads, including the Tomingley-Yeoval Road in the north, the Parkes-Manildra Road in the south and from Peak Hill along the Baldry Road. Visitors have a great luxury within the National Park and are welcome to undertake passive recreation activities such as bush walking, bird watching and camping. Free camping is available within the park at two sites, Wanda Wandong and Greenbah, facilities are available for visitors including amenities (excludes water and power), interpretive signage and parking bays for recreational vehicles.
